About Dabbobi
What is Dabbobi?
Dabbobi is a marketplace for livestock and the goods and services around it: cattle, goats, sheep, poultry, animal feed, crops, storage, meat processing and farm labour. Every payment is held in escrow, and animals are verified by their muzzle print at delivery before the seller is paid.
When does Dabbobi launch?
Dabbobi is in development and launching in late 2026 on iPhone and Android. Join the waitlist on our homepage and we will contact you before the public launch.
Who is behind Dabbobi?
Dabbobi is a trading name of Kasuwa Integrated Services Limited, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission under RC 9486525, with its head office at 23 Palace Road, Oniru, Lagos, Nigeria.
Where does Dabbobi operate?
Across Nigeria. Our head office is in Lagos, with an office in Abuja and yards in Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos and in Katsina.
Which languages does the app support?
The app works in six languages: English, Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and Fulani.
Payments and protection
How does escrow work?
When you place an order, your payment is held by a licensed payment partner, not sent to the seller. It is released to the seller only after the delivery is verified and you confirm it. If you report a problem, it stays held until the case is resolved.
Who holds my money?
Payments are processed and held by licensed payment partners, including Paystack. Dabbobi does not ask you to send money to any personal account.
What is muzzle-print verification?
The ridges on an animal's muzzle are unique to it, like a fingerprint. The seller scans the muzzle with a phone when listing the animal, and it is scanned again at delivery. If the two scans match, you have received the animal you paid for.
Which animals can be verified?
Verification starts with cattle. Goats and sheep will be added as our model is trained to the same standard. Until then, those listings are still protected by escrow and our dispute process.
What happens if the scan does not match?
The payment stays frozen and the order goes to our team for review. If a scan simply fails, for example because of a poor photo, a person reviews it so an honest delivery is not rejected.
What if there is a problem with my order?
Report it in the app. You can choose damaged or spoiled, incomplete order, muzzle mismatch, not delivered, or describe another issue. The payment is held while our team reviews the evidence from both sides.
Buying and selling
What can I buy and sell?
Cattle, goats, sheep and rams, poultry, animal feed and crops, plus services such as storage, meat processing and farm labour.
How does delivery work?
The seller can deliver or arrange a driver, the buyer can collect at an agreed point, and after launch you will also be able to book transport through logistics partners. The animal is verified at handover in every case.
How much does Dabbobi cost?
Dabbobi charges a small fee on completed, verified orders. We will publish full pricing before launch.
